His name is Lloyd Barker, and he shared these beautiful photos with his mother who can pass for his girlfriend or wife.
He wrote:
“The photo on the left was taken in 1998 and the photo on the right: 2012. I was 6 and 20 years old, respectively in the two photos.
The concept that always comes to mind is the idea that my mother has been the one to lift me yesterday, properly preparing me to be able to lift her today. “Lifting” is figurative for inspire, encourage, motivate, and support.”

As long as they are not having sex or trying to marry each other, the photos are tolerable, although not recommendable for posting publicly. There are lots of sick weirdos out there who injure our sensibilities with their depraved life styles. I saw a picture like this last year, of a mother who gave her son up for adoption but upon becoming an adult, the son sought her out and instead of them gracing humanity with some inspirational acts worthy of our time, they assaulted our values by publicly professing their love, their sexual encounters, and their marriage; that was despicable. I hope that this story does not turn into that, for I cannot make sense of why he was unperturbed carrying his mother (with her wearing a mere underwear) on his shoulders. That is borderline indecent and untraditional. There are so many other ways he could lift up his mother.
