Those things primary structural development local, state and federal governments should focus on rather than divisive political wrangles. When shall we grow up? Nigeria continues to stagnate in myopic confluence and disunity. How many centuries will it take to have a ‘right-thinking’ mind to retrospect on local, national and international expectations that a developing nation needs the right mindset to a continual and visible environmental and socio-political developments. First was the ‘high-brow’ areas of the state, which should serve as an alert for governments to revise its town planning strategies and commence rehabilitative environmental works. Idi Araba, Oshodi, Maroko, etc, as in the majority of the country, have always been hot-spots of disaster during the raining season, with associated pain on the locals. Howbeit, nothing tangibly visible is being undertaken to grant reprieve. A big shame that same encounter will be relived next year and more years, until the leaders, representatives and purse-string holders contend to ‘do the right things’ by the people.
