Senior Special Assistant to Benue State Governor on Protocol, Dennis Uchin Jande, is dead.
The Nation reports that he died on Tuesday afternoon at Hemko Hospital in Makurdi.
The deceased worked with former Governor Gabriel Suswam before joining Governor Ortom in same capacity.
His close friend, Chief Godwin Uwua, who conveyed the remains of the deceased to Benue State University Hospital mortuary, said Jande drove himself to the hospital for checkup.
He later died while on admission.
Uwua, who was ex-Flying Eagles coach, described Jande as a peaceful man, who cannot hurt a fly.
Jande passed away few days after the death of Deji Tinubu, Special Adviser to Governor Ambode on Commerce and Industry. (Daily Post)
