STAR UPDATE: INEC’s Nationwide Distribution of PVCs as at March 12, 2015 -By Prof Mobolaji Aluko

Uncategorized
My people,
The PVC distribution percentage is now 81.22% national average – with lowly Ogun State inching towards the 50% mark (current figure: 49.45%).
Three million more PVCs have been collected since the six-week postponement four weeks ago, with thirteen more million yet to be collected – theoretically.
Can we attain 100% distribution? Impossible…..but here is the temptation, which will be most unfortunate to our nation, and unacceptable:
To ostensibly ALLOW for more PVC collection  over a new two-week period, INEC might be asked/pressured to pronounce yet another POSTPONEMENT of three weeks – this time ONLY of the Presidential/National Legislation elections, from March 28 to April18 – that is, to hold AFTER the State Elections.  This would still be within constitutional order, since even a constitutionally-mandated presidential run-off (on April 25, a week after April 18) would still make May 29 to sancrosanct.
There you have it….we shall see….
Bolaji Aluko

1 thought on “STAR UPDATE: INEC’s Nationwide Distribution of PVCs as at March 12, 2015 -By Prof Mobolaji Aluko

  1. I thank professor Aluko for his unessary suggestions of postponing the election again. I think he must be living in a dream land. We don’t need his advice even you are working for the president your own idea will not come to pass IJN amen. You better off at Otuoke than for you to advising the INEC again.
