Nigerian Supreme Court has fixed Thursday for the judgment in the appeals filed by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi against President Bola Tinubu.

Atiku and Obi are praying the Supreme court to set aside the judgment by the presidential election petition tribunal (PEPT) which affirmed the election of President Tinubu.

In a telephone call on Wednesday, the Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, told Punch that the judgment in the appeals had been scheduled for tomorrow.

Akande was reported to have said: “Tomorrow, Thursday, has been fixed for the judgment in the appeals brought by Atiku and Peter Obi.”
