Two Catholic Rev Fathers killed by herdsmen in Nigerian church

Persons believed to be herdsmen have killed two priests in an attack at St. Ignatius’ Catholic Church, Mbalom, Gwer East local government area of Benue state, Nigeria.

Director of the Catholic archdiocese of Makurdi, Moses Iorapuu confirmed the attack, blaming it on “Jihadists”.

The gunmen were said to have invaded the church during the early morning mass and began to shoot at the congregation.

The two deceased Catholic priests were identified as Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha.

May God grant them eternal rest.
