Image result for adeboye photoA viral video of Redeemed church members worshipping their General Overseer, Enoch Adeboye’s chair has raised an uproar on social media.

The video online shows members of the church marching to the chair as they kneel before it.

While some Nigerians are condemning the act some say its an act of faith in the anointing upon Pastor Adeboye.

Controversial media personality OAP Freeze was not left out, he wrote on Instagram @daddyfreeze “This is not faith or worship, this is fuckery.

@agathaGrace “nobody instructed them to do this, plus if this is how they worship people then you need your eyes cleaned.

@Dammy_yusuph this is idolatry no othe way to call iy this si not even Christianity

@onyisue just imagine this sort of foolishness and stupidity someone will tell me he /she doesn;t like catholic because we worship mary which is not true but they are worshipping a mere chair.

@dearmammaa “They are not worshipping the chair if u have faith like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment and was healed you are free to touch the G.O’s chair and receive your miracle by faith.

@stamina kwaleboi “This is not out of place someone touched Jesus garment and got healed

@queenfortune “Daddy G.O will never ask them to touch it and again i believe its ur faith that does the miracle for you.

@Uche_emmkie “The woman with the issue of blood got healed by touching the garment of Jesus all they are doing is tapping into the anointing just like she did and i believe it works for they that believe.

  1. Ignorance is deadly! How can you then blame idolators in your village or some orthodox churches carrying images, believe it or not you are the same. Read your Bible and understand the context within which certain events happened. We may try within our limited knowledge to justify idolatry but the Bible condemns it in all its ramifications, and trust me the great apostle, Peter hinted in Acts of the Apostles that God is not a respecter of persons, but blesses all who worship Him in Spirit and Truth irrespective of their foundations or ethnicity.
