Former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, has claimed that Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose escaped from the fiery anger of President Olusegun Obasanjo, and stayed in his (Kalu) house for 90 days, eating food.
Kalu, who accused Obasanjo of having killed many people said, he saved Fayose when he was impeached by the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Fayose escaped from security men after his October 2006 impeachment saga alongside his deputy, Mrs. Biodun Olujimi.
Kalu made the revelation after Fayose who returned to power in 2014 and set to leave in October warned him not to step into Ekiti State soil.
Despite Fayose’s threat, Kalu entered Ekiti State to organize a Pro-Buhari rally.
In a viral video, Kalu had earlier described Fayose as his boy who dared not stop him from doing his political bidding in Ekiti.
The video was wrongly titled because Fayose was impeached in 2006 and not 2003. He was actually sworn into office in 2003.
