Where has the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki, got the power to direct Central Bank of Nigeria to disburse money? -Pius Adesanmi

Concerning the Sambo Dasuki higi haga, I’m actually not as interested in the hundreds of billions of dollars he allegedly goatified in the report as I am in this tiny bit that lots of people haven’t paid attention to:

“the former NSA directed the Central Bank of Nigeria…”

Do not fight any Nigerian tomorrow. Do not be hostile to any Nigerian. Wake up and congratulate any Nigerian around you for the extraordinary feat of being sane. Sanity is not easy when you confront stuff like this daily. Every Nigerian who wakes to another day with his sanity intact deserves to be congratulated warmly.

I greet you all my beloved people.

E pele. E ku suuru. E ku amumora. E ku ifarada. E ku bo se nlo. E ku iroju. E ku aforiti. E ku gbogbo e. E pele gan ni.

It boggles the mind that somewhere on this planet and in the 21st century, a political appointee will just wake up, pick the phone, and “direct the Central bank” to disburse funds. We are talking of hundreds of billions of dollars.

I don’t know why Nigeria has produced only one Nobel Prize for Literature. Our daily reality makes the world’s most imaginative writers look like apprentices.

He directed the Central Bank. Just like that!

It’s like an adviser waking up in the White House and phoning the Federal Reserve to direct them to disburse funds.

Even the Governor of the Central Bank of Uganda had the testicular fortitude to say that Uganda money was worth less than shit paper and to resist being directed by His Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, CBE, Lord of all the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea, and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in general and Uganda in particular.
