Kuwaiti lawmaker collapses during parliamentary session and dies

Kuwaiti lawmaker Nabeel Al Fadhl died this morning, December 22, as he was taking part in the regular parliament session. Al Fadhl reportedly lost his consciousness inside the hall where the lawmakers were holding the session. (lawmakers pictured around him after he collapsed).

The session was suspended as a medical team rushed to provide necessary assistance. A lawmaker, Khalil Abdullah, placed a flag of Kuwait on Al Fadhl’s seat following the announcement of his death.
