  1. That is un-Islamic. It is unfortunate that a state like Katsina does not know what the Shari’a says. You cannot punish an illiterate or one who chose to disobey Muhammad Rasulullah. Katsina state has a deficit of about 6,000 teachers for mathematics, english and others. How many teachers in Islamic education are in Katsina state? How many of them have the basic qualifications required for teaching Islamic education?
Instead of inviting more wreath and displeasure of Allah, it is better to throw away that and find away for teaching Islam. There is not a single Islamic teacher for example with Musnad Imam Ahmad. There is not a single scholar with a book on Usul hadith, fiqh a classical introductory commentary on the Qur’an. The translated english books taught in IRK are archaic and not up to the standard of a kindergarten.
