Justice Olabisi Akinlade of a Lagos High Court has found two out of the four accused persons guilty in the murder of Cynthia Osokogu, the 24 year old Nasarawa State University post graduate student who was murdered at Cosmilla Hotel, Lakeview Estate in Festac town on July 22nd 2012.
The two persons found guilty are Okwumo Nwabufo, 33 and Olisaeloka Ezike, 23. They were both found guilty of chaining, drugging and strangling Cynthia who came into Lagos to meet with Nwabufo. They were consequently sentenced to death. The deceased had come into Lagos to meet with Okwumo who she met on Facebook.
