A judge of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has denied the bail application of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and director of Biafran Radio, Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu is standing trial for treasonable offences filed against him by the Federal government.

Hon. Justice John Tsoho in his ruling, today, said Kanu should be remanded in prison custody pending his trial, because he was a threat to national security and since he has dual citizenship, could jump bail.
