You must deal with Fulani Herdsmen like Boko Haram -Reno Omokri tells Buhari

Uncategorized

In a reaction to President Buhari’s statement in China where he said his government will deal with pipeline vandals the way they deal with Boko Haram, Reno Omokri, has asked Buhari to deal with unruly Fulani herdsmen that have killed many Nigerians and destroyed many farmlands in some parts of the country, in the same manner.

  1. I agree…! It should be dealt with because it is a crime. But on the scale of killing citizens…especially helpless and innocent citizens of any local community, which of the problems is more heinous? Which of the problems calls for more attention?

  2. This is simply appalling…that we are asking the President to solve every problem in the country. Do we not have and did we not elect other people to handle other things?

Take for example the case of Fulani herdsmen (if that’s indeed who they are), going around in different states and local communities, harassing, maiming, terrorizing, and killing lots of innocent indigenes; yet the police force has not been forthcoming in making arrests and the court system has not prosecuted anyone. Do they not see what’s going on?

Where are the elected members of each of those local communities and states; where are the elected governors of those states and areas? Do they not see, are they not aware of what is going…the killing and constant harassment of their citizens?

Why must we constantly feel like the PRESIDENT is the SUPERMAN and all knowing of every problem in the country? Surely, we elected or appointed some folks to serve and protect their local citizens…did we not? Please somebody correct me!

If I am an elected person in my local area (member of the house, senate, representative, or federal senate, or even the governor) and members of my community are being terrorized or killed by “visiting” or “marauding” herdsman, I will definitely lodge a complaint to the Inspector General of Police and make sure that every measure is taken to protect my fellow citizens of the state.

Let’s STOP this nonsense of asking the president to do something that our own “governors” and local police should be doing for us.

Let’s face it…The president and certainly, this president is NOT that kind of a superman. And we should not be waiting for him to solve every problem.
