Opinion: It Is Suicidal Trying To Stop The Moving Train

Tinubu boys invaded the social media prior to Ekiti gubernatorial election and to mention Gov. Fayose then was tantamount to a crime. The atmosphere was not only charged but tensed. In the end, the rejected stone on the social media eventually became the head of the corner in Ekiti State. I wonder why APC leaders have chosen to employ the same option in their futile bid to stop the moving train.

Tinubu did expressly say that he invested over 43 billion naira in campaigning for Buhari in return for oil wells in the oil-rich Niger Delta, a serial loser and protagonist of violence who is again morally bound to fail. In the days of yore, mere uttering any anti-Buhari remark was enough reason for one to be railroaded to prison all in a bid to cover up the excesses of that evil regime calling to mind a good number of journalists he jailed at the period under review. The same man is being foisted on us by Lagos State taxpayers’ money, a plan which will never see the light of the day.

This best explains the case of a criminal overlord at the helm who wants everyone to succumb to his diabolic whims and caprices and I say yet again, Tinubu and his diabolic cabal are morally bound to fail following their desire to return us to the proverbial vicious circle. It is a thousand pities that some Nigerians of South Western extraction have resolved to follow this man like a sheep being led to the slaughter.

Nigeria has gone past the era of being ruled over by brute force by a tiny cabal bent solely on personal aggrandizement. Hence, what is the rationale behind throwing caution and decorum to the winds by courting unmitigated disaster which the caliber of men in APC’s hierarchy represent? These men ought to be chased out of Nigeria with sticks and cutlasses because their consuming ambition will only lead their followers to a disastrous end.
